David - Andy from Steinberger World here. Wanted to share some info with you on upgraded parts for the TransTrem. Buck Dharma just installed them and raved about the improvement. He specifically asked if I'd talked to you about it. Feel free to email me at your leisure and I can explain it. - Andy

I just wanted to tell you I bought "Cloud About Mercury" when I was 19 years old. I have owned a vinyl copy, as well as a cassette, and two copies of the cd.

It is my very favorite album of all time. I find your playing, composing and looping inspiring, and the standard by which I judge my own work.

I am now building a custom looping rig of my very own, and look forward to taking a year to learn to play it properly before gigging with it.

Oh, yeah--The score album for "The Order" is terriffic, too. Can't wait for new Splattercell music!

David - I hae a request for a tech referral re: the Electrix
Repeater. Have you contact info for a repair person to modify
the unit to upgrade to 128, 256, or half gig internal memory?
The CFC card reader is useless for recording and I can only
record witinin the 16 megs nboard memory then copy to the
card - the reader finds all cards (regardless of brand or size
128, 256) too slow and quits recording mid stream. Electrix is
useless and they are stating they wll be back online in 2006 -
yeah right. Anyhow, I am a fellow looper (prefer the Oberheim
e-plex pro myself but like the 4 track Repeater capability). ciao
and thanks for the e-mailed reference: PB
